Baby Booties

 

 

 

Just had to post these. I'm using up some small balls of hand spun, hand dyed yarns from my Romney sheep.

 

 

These were  hand crocheted using a # 5 crochet hook. The pattern was from a you tube site called WoolyWondersCrochet a sweet lovely gal  who has lots of nice baby patterns.

 

 

The snow is almost gone and spring is in the air. Yay!!!

  Spring is in the air although we still have snow on the ground. Lots of robins this year in our area, my husband counted 100 in the park yesterday when he was walking the dog. I've been doing a bit of  hand spinning. This is a first clip from one of my Romney girls and some hand dyed silk that I spun and plied together.

 

 

  The pattern is a Lace Trellis Stitch (multiple of 11 stitches.)  called Strips of Lace Scarf. I'm not sure what book it is from. I used 5mm needles.

After washing.

 

 

 

  Finished scarf measures 6 inches x 39 inches.

 

 

Baby Hat

 

 

 Another small ball of hand spun yarn. This is 2ply Romney hand dyed. I trend to spin fine yarns and it's a challenge to find things to make with it.
